Genetic inactivation of Ikaros and the aberrant expression of DN isoforms have been demonstrated in different types of human leukemia, such as B and T acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) [14]–[27], chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) [15], [28], [29] and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) [4]. Here, IKZF1 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
