As shown in Figure 4A, after RNAi-mediated knockdown of hnRNP A1 we did not detect any variation in the level of SRSF1 and hnRNP H. Interestingly, however, we observed upregulation of hnRNP A2/B1 (Figure 5A), a factor known to regulate the EMT program and frequently overexpressed in cancer (13,30). This evidence concerns the gene HNRNPH2 and cancer.
