The chemokine (CC motif) receptor 3 transcript (Gene 6), which encodes a G-protein-coupled receptor [56] was previously found to be downregulated in postmortem dorsolateral prefrontal cortex tissue from patients with bipolar disorder [57], and peripheral blood expression of RNF213 (Gene 7, the ring finger protein 213) was found to correlate with response to the atypical neuroleptic risperidone by children with autism spectrum disorders [58]. This evidence concerns the gene RNF213 and autism spectrum disorder.
