The principal JAM-C ligands are JAM-C, JAM-B, and the leukocyte integrin αMβ2 (Mac-1), but our findings to date have not provided any evidence for expression of JAM-C on tumor pericytes, and the potential expression of other JAM-C ligands on pericytes needs to be the subject of future studies. The gene discussed is JAM3; the disease is neoplasm.
