Some constituents of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) that are suppressed during the acute-phase response [22], apolipoprotein (apo) A-I, apo A-II, and serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 1 in the case of sera from AAA patients and apo A-I, apo A-II, apo C-II, apo M, and serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 1 in the case of sera from TAA patients, were also included in the decreased proteins.
