The immunopathogenesis of DENV infection involves host-specific immune responses, including immune cell activation, the release of cytokines (IL-1β, IL-2, IL-6, IL-10, IL-13, IL-18, macrophage migration inhibitory factor, tumor growth factor-β, TNF, and IFNs) and chemokines (IL-8, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1, and regulated and normal T cell expressed and secreted), complement activation, the production of inflammatory mediators, and autoimmunity [6,30,32,33,38,55,56]. This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and Autoimmunity.
