In our MWA screening using 48 antibodies against proteins involved in Akt signaling and cell cycle regulation, we observed that triol caused reduction of Akt1, Akt2, cyclin E2, cyclin B1, phospho-c-Myc Thr58/Ser62, c-Myc, and phospho-Akt Ser473 in all three prostate cancer cell lines. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and Familial prostate cancer.
