Similarly, total polyp mass was also significantly elevated from 192.2 ± 11.6 mm2 in Apc+/MinDnd1+/+ mice to 352.6 ± 11.4 mm2 in Apc+/Min: Dnd1+/Ter males (t = 4.5, p<0.0001; two-tailed t-test; Figure 3B), suggesting that a single copy of Dnd1Ter exacerbates intestinal polyp initiation and development in mice that are genetically susceptible to intestinal polyposis and that the action of Dnd1Ter is not limited to TGCTs.
