We report an advanced stage Chinese female lung adenocarcinoma patient who was negative for epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), V-Ki-ras2 Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) gene mutations, also negative for chinodem microtubule-associated protein-like 4/anaplastic lymphoma kinase (EML4-ALK) gene rearrangement and treated with bevacizumab (15 mg/kg) in combination with 6 cycles of conventional doses of paclitaxel and carboplatin chemotherapy. The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
