Cox multivariate analysis showed that lymph node metastasis (P = 0.01) as well as pathological stage (P = 0.02), and TRPS1 expression (P = 0.03) in colon cancer were negatively correlated with postoperative overall survival, and positively correlated with mortality, suggesting that TRPS1 may be a relative risk factor for prognosis in patients with colon cancer (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene TRPS1 and malignant colon neoplasm.
