Even though ADAM9 has been observed to be highly expressed in numerous solid malignant tumors (9–15), correlating with cancer cells’ invasion, migration, metastasis, involvement of lymph nodes and a worse prognosis (5–15), the expression of ADAM9 at the protein level and its clinical significance in human resected NSCLC cases remains unclear. The gene discussed is ADAM9; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
