We previously demonstrated that ADAM9 is downregulated when using siRNA silencing hepatoma-derived growth factor (HDGF), inducing inhibition of anchorage-independent growth of NSCLC cells and their capability of migrating through the BD matrigel (19,20), suggesting that ADAM9 participates in the HDGF pathway to promote invasion and metastasis of NSCLC cells. Here, ADAM9 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
