PROM1 and lung carcinoma: Interestingly, CD133, which has been suggested to be a marker of tumor stem cells of different types of tumors, was highly expressed (56.89±6.26%) in the LC-42 lung cancer cells, while the EKVX, SELS and HTB-182 cells showed a weak expression of the CD133 antigen (0.39±0.30%, 0.43± 0.17% and 1.07±0.57%, respectively) (Table 1).
