There are reports that NDRG1 is over-expressed in a variety of cancers, including lung, brain, melanoma, liver, prostate, breast, and renal cancer [61]–[62].Our data shows the upregulation of NDRG1 in the highly metastatic PC3-ML2 prostate cancer cell line and would suggest that the protein is up-regulated in metastatic disease. This evidence concerns the gene NDRG1 and cancer.
