The PD-increased hsa-miR-21 (log fold change: 1.3, p-value: 0.02) also participates in a miRNA-based gene dys-regulation pathway in Huntington's disease (Johnson et al., 2008), and potentiated suppression by hsa-miR-21 and hsa-miR-150 of PTEN and Huntingtin would intercept T- and B- cells proliferation (Krichevsky and Gabriely, 2008; Lundstrom, 2011).
