In the present study, our data show that miR-145 downregulates c-Myc and its target gene cyclin D1, as supported by the findings in other cancers that miR-145 represses the expression of c-Myc and its downstream targets in colon cancer and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [21,37]. The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
