Consistent with this result, the expression of DR5 was significantly up-regulated not only in ovarian carcinoma cells [25] with wild-type p53 (A2780), but also in those with mutant p53 (OVCAR3 and ES2) and p53 null type (SKOV3), indicating that DTCD-induced DR5 up-regulation is not p53-dependent in ovarian cancer cells (Fig. 3C). This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF10B and ovarian carcinoma.
