Thus, BRAF mutations were found in 15/42 (35.7 %) of subcutaneous metastases, 12/20 (60.0 %) of lymph node metastases, but only in 3/22 (13.6 %) of the visceral metastases examined (p = 0.007; details available in Supplementary Information, Table S1). Here, BRAF is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
