MTA3 expression was associated with a histologic differentiation of well or moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma (vs. poorly differentiated; P = 0.004), stage I or II disease (vs. stage III disease; P<0.001), a lack of lymph node metastasis (P = 0.001), a lack of distant metastasis (P = 0.013), decreased Snail expression (P<0.001), and increased E-cadherin expression (P<0.001; Table 1). Here, MTA3 is linked to adenocarcinoma.
