Interleukin 10 (IL-10) is a pleiotropic cytokine secreted by a wide array of immune cells, including monocytes, macrophages, T cells, dendritic cells (DC), B cells, natural killer (NK) cells, mast cells, neutrophilic and eosinophilic granulocytes, and by several tumor cells [10,11]. The gene discussed is IL10; the disease is neoplasm.
