Considering the expression of 14 genes, four genes (IGFBPL1, MCF2, CALCRL, and TOP2A) were expressed at a higher level in the low risk group compared to the high risk group, probably having protective effect, while the remaining 10 genes (SOD2, EGFR, AGT, CHI3L1, CCL2, MBP, CPE, OLFM1, PACSIN1, and SNCA) were expressed at a higher level in the high risk group than in the low risk group, probably having a role in tumor aggressiveness (Table 1). The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is neoplasm.
