Vorinostat (suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid; SAHA) has been approved by the FDA for treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, while newly developed HDAC inhibitors are having success in clinical trials in various tumor types, including breast cancer, acute myeloid leukemia, and Hodgkin lymphoma [3], [6]–[8].
