They found that the combination of GG and Pro/Pro, TG and Pro/Pro and GG and Arg/Arg in comparison to the reference MDM2 SNP309 TT and TP53Arg/Arg genotype, significantly increased the risk of cancer (OR, 3.38; 95% CI, 1.77–6.47), (OR, 1.88; 95% CI, 1.26–2.81) and (OR, 1.96; 95% CI, 1.01–3.78), respectively. This evidence concerns the gene MDM2 and cancer.
