To correlate structures to functions, the amino acid sequences of PAH, HPD, HGD, and FAH from hibernating and non-hibernating bats and their structure templates from human (PAH, HPD, HGD, and FAH), rat (PAH and HPD), and mouse (FAH) were analyzed by structure-based sequence alignments (Figures S5, S6, and Table S3). The gene discussed is FAH; the disease is pulmonary arterial hypertension.
