S100A7 has been reported to increase NF-κB activity levels in MDA-MB-468 cells [7], and NF-κB-regulated genes have been documented to be involved in cellular proliferation and invasion along with tumor related angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis [18] but not much is known about the relation between S100A7 and NF-κB as well as its role in NF-κB-induced signaling.
