Since a number of reports have indicated the effects of Angptl4 on angiogenesis, including endothelial cell proliferation, migration, differentiation, endothelial cell adhesion, and vascular permeability [43-46], it seems likely that Angptl4 contributes to the increased angiogenesis and vascular permeability in gliomas formed by EGFRvIII cells.
