At present the proportion of lung adenocarcinomas in NSCLC is higher than before. Thus, the study on prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma is extremely important. The predictive value of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations for prognosis in patients with resected lung adenocarcinomas has not be reported in China. The aim of this study is to analyze the association between the EGFR mutations and the outcomes of patients with resected lung adenocarcinomas. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
