Dicer knockdown significantly increased the percentage of S and G2/M phase cells (P=0.002 and P=0.022, respectively), which was accompanied by a fall in the percentage of G0/G1 phase cells (P<0.001; Fig. 1E), suggesting that Dicer is a regulator of the cell cycle, impacting cell proliferation in ovarian cancer.
