In the present study, we found that high expression of UBE2C protein was detected in 56.0% NPC cases, whilst no UBE2C expression was observed in benign nasopharyngeal tissues; moreover, high UBE2C expression was found to be positively associated with the T, M and N classifications of NPC, indicating that high expression of UBE2C contributes to the pathogenesis and clinical progression of NPC, although these findings require further validation in larger cohorts. The gene discussed is UBE2C; the disease is nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
