CRHR1 and alcohol dependence: This postdependent phenotype could be reversed by a CRF1 antagonist, 3-(4-chloro-2-morpholin-4-yl-thiazol-5-yl)-8-(1-ethylpropyl)-2,6-dimethyl-imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine (MTIP) (Funk et al. 2006; Sommer et al. 2008), confirming the role of increased CRF activity during alcohol dependence.
