Our meta-analysis also showed no significant association between the UCP3 -55C/T polymorphism and the risk of obesity in all genetic models (additive FEM OR = 1.05, 95% CI: 0.96–1.16; dominant FEM OR = 1.08, 95% CI: 0.91–1.28; recessive FEM OR = 1.08, 95% CI: 0.85–1.36; co-dominant FEM OR = 1.12, 95% CI: 0.82–1.54) (Table 4 and Fig. 3). The gene discussed is UCP3; the disease is Obesity.
