Cancer-related genes such as Nek11, A4gnt, Srp9, Gli2, Gucy2c, Lsm1, Duoxa1, Lasp1, Ret, Bex2, Vav3, Kcnrg, Tle6, Rab23, Dcc, Rassf2, Perp, Pdgfr1, Lin28, Gstm1, Safb2, Tmem46, and Hdac9 were remarkably overrepresented in time-course clusters identified by the MNI analysis in the epididymal and subcutaneous fat tissues and gastrocnemius muscle of mice with diet-induced obesity (Figs. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). Here, RASSF2 is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
