Overall RR for highest vs. lowest quintile for GI was 1.08 (95% CI: 0.96, 1.21; p for trend=0.20) and for GL 1.13 (95% CI: 1.00, 1.29; p for trend=0.05).For estrogen receptor (ER)+/ progesterone receptor (PR)+ RR was 0.89 (95% CI: 0.74, 1.06; p for trend=0.32) for GI and 0.94 (95% CI: 0.77, 1.13; p for trend=0.59) for GL. For ER-/PR- breast tumors RR was 1.29 (95% CI: 0.85, 1.96; p for trend=0.62) for GI and 1.23 (95% CI: 0.79, 1.90; p for trend=0.45). For ER+/PR- breast cancer RR 1.44 (95% CI=1.06, 1.97; p for trend=0.04) for GI and 1.81 (95% CI=1.29, 2.53; p for trend 0.0008) for GL. This evidence concerns the gene ESR1 and breast carcinoma.
