Fifty-eight HCC patients were categorized into two groups, 40 (69.0%) characterized by significantly increased levels of γ-H2AX expression (high expressors; LI >50%), and 18 (31.9%) with very low to negative expression (low expressors; LI <50%) (Figure 1(c)). The gene discussed is H2AX; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
