Serum leptin concentrations were significantly lower in the groups fed high-fat CLA diets (HFC and HFCB) and in the low-fat diet group (LF) than those in the high-fat diet group (HF); conversely, adiponectin was significantly higher in the CLA diet groups (HFC and HFCB) than that in the other dietary groups. This evidence concerns the gene ADIPOQ and hydrops fetalis.
