Additionally, Fava et al. [15] reported that after exclusion of 2398 subjects from the ‘Malmo Preventive Project’ (MMP) cohort, who also participated in the ‘Malmo Diet and Cancer-cardiovascular arm’ (MDC-CVA) cohort, the association between STK39 rs35929607 and hypertension was no longer statistically significant at baseline (OR = 1.06, 95%CI = 0.98–1.14) or at follow-up (OR = 1.06, 95%CI = 0.98–1.15).
