In contrast, we found higher expression levels of alpha-cardiac actin, alcohol dehydrogenase 1B, annexin A2 a annexin A5, cysteine and glycine-rich protein 1 cysteine and glycine-rich protein 1, destrin, alpha-enolase, glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, heat shock 70 kDa protein, keratin, type II cytoskeletal 1, transgelin, protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase 2 and vimentin in the healthy aortic tissue compared to the AAA samples.
