Liu et al.[84] demonstrated that annexin A2 is abundantly expressed in five strains of normal human prostate (NHP 1-5) epithelial cells while reduced/lost in seven prostate cancer cell lines (PPC-1, MDA PCa 2b, LNCaP, C4-2, C5, PC3 and DU-145). Here, ANXA2 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
