Patients with renal failure (n = 5) presented higher values of GAS6 (42.5 ± 4.0 ng/mL vs 31.2 ± 1.5 ng/mL; P = 0.023); MerTK (31.4 ± 7.3 ng/mL vs 20.1 ± 1.4 ng/mL; P = 0.024); and Tyro3 (4.6 ± 0.4 ng/mL vs 3.5 ± 0.2 ng/mL; P = 0.031). Here, GAS6 is linked to acute kidney injury.
