c-Myc inhibition by siRNA c-Myc transfection modulated the proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma cells; in fact, the proliferation of pS siRNA c-Myc cells was markedly decreased compared with parental and vector-alone–transfected cells (P < 0.05) (Figure 3c), indicating that c-Myc is involved in the proliferative potential of hepatocarcinoma cells. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and hepatocellular carcinoma.
