In the 156 breast cancer patients, 22.4% (35 of 156) of patients were TFPI-2-negative (including 19 cases with no staining signal and 16 cases with staining cells <10%), while the remaining 77.6% (121 of 156) showed variable levels of TFPI-2 expression, with a mean of mean-density of this cohort as 0.325 (95% CI 0.315-0.336). Here, TFPI2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
