TSC22D3 and multiple sclerosis: The anti-inflammatory actions of Gilz were recently confirmed in several inflammatory diseases, i.e. inflammatory bowel disease (Cannarile et al, 2009), rheumatoid arthritis (Beaulieu et al, 2010) and multiple sclerosis (Srinivasan & Janardhanam, 2011), but the role of Gilz in endotoxemia and sepsis is unknown.
