LEF1 and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia: Minke et al. and Gandhirajan et al. investigated the effects of CGP049090 (IC50 ≤ 1 μM) and PFK115-584 (IC50 ≤ 1 μM) in acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) cells respectively 85, 86.They found that both compounds led to a substantial decrease in the expression of β-catenin/LEF1 target genes (e.g. c-myc, cyclin D1 and survivin).
