AGTR1 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: In the present study, our data indicated that the five previously reported SNPs of the angiotensin II type I receptor (AGTR1) gene (rs3772622, rs3772627, rs3772630, rs3772633, and rs2276736) were not associated with susceptibility to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
