Among the variety of 14-3-3 isoforms, increased expression of 14-3-3ε has been demonstrated in breast cancer, lung cancer, vulvar squamous cell carcinoma, follicular and papillary thyroid tumors, meningioma, and HCC [21], [24], [27]–[30], although reduced expression of 14-3-3ε in gastric cancer has been reported [31]. This evidence concerns the gene YWHAE and vulvar squamous cell carcinoma.
