With regard to this point, there is room for further investigation because Usp46 MT and KO mice showed several behavioral phenotypes that do not apply to depression-like behaviors; the immobility time was decreased in both the FST and TST, reflecting mania-like behavior [1], and the anxiety levels were not found to be higher in the open field test and elevated plus-maze test in the present study and in the light-dark box test in our previous study [1].
