Consistent with previously published data [30]–[31] that the majority of PV patients expressing >50% mutant allele burden and ET patients expressing <50% mutant allele burden, we found that JAK2 V617F allele burden was much higher in our PV patients[median(P25–P75): 45.02% (35.12%–54.22%)] than in ET patients [median(P25–P75): 28.23%(17.77%–41.66%)]. Here, JAK2 is linked to acquired polycythemia vera.
