LAPTM4B and endometrial carcinoma: The overexpression of LAPTM4B is associated with unfavorable biological behaviors and poor prognosis of many carcinomas, such as breast cancer [2], HCC [3]; [4]; [5], gallbladder carcinoma [6]; [7], colorectal carcinoma [8], epithelial ovarian carcinoma [9], endometrial carcinoma [10] etc. LAPTM4B is able to bind to multidrug resistance 1 (MDR1), and also active PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, which motivates multi-drug resistance [11].
