MYT1L (adjusted p = 6.9e-14) and FOXE3 (adjusted p = 9.0e-10) were found as the most significant hypo- and hyper-methylated genes between the HCC and adjacent normal tissues, respectively, while NFATC1 (Delta-beta −0.6) and RIMS2 (Delta-beta 0.55) showed the biggest methylation level differences between two groups among hypo- and hypermethylated genes, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene RIMS2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
