This study found that: (1) There were no significant differences in the serum concentrations of all 7 angiogenic factors between control group and diabetes group; (2) Serum concentrations of VEGF and Ang-2 were elevated in UAP patients with or without diabetes, and diabetes didn’t affect the elevation of serum VEGF and Ang-2 concentrations; (3) Only serum Ang-2 concentrations were significantly correlated with Gensini score, LVEDD, LVESD and LVEF. The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is diabetes mellitus.
