BCR-ABL mutations respond differently to three tyrosine kinase inhibitors approved for first-line treatment of CML, e.g., Y253F and G250E mutations resistant to imatinib can respond to nilotinib or/and dasatinib, T315A shows better response to imatinib though resistant to Dasatinib and Nilotinib, while some mutations are less sensitive to nilotinib (E255K/V and F359V/C) or dasatinib (F317L and V299L) [41]. Here, ABL1 is linked to chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
